Good evening!

Summer is really getting closer and I can feel it pumping through my veins. I’ve got so much more energy and I want to live everyday like it was the last!

I used to be very tired and didn’t feel like doing much. I got back from work and stayed at home all afternoon watching TV or use my computer.

But now! I just want to enjoy and have fun! A drink on the balcony wouldn’t be too bad right now… But unfortunately I don’t have any passion juice! Haha!

However, today I went for a walk with a friend, and then when we got close to her house and she had to go home, I was also close to my grandma, so I called her to see if she was busy.

”Hello it’s Silla, what are you doing?” I asked.

”I’m just sitting here waiting for you to come visit me.” Grandma said. She’s a funny one

We had some cookies and sweet buns and talked about when grandma went to England to work as a maid when she was only 21. This was very unusual to do at this time, year 1946, one year after World War II was over. My grandma was a cool girl! And still is. She told me that her four sisters all were married and had children. Then she said:

”But why should I marry and have children like them? I didn’t like the thought at all!”

Silla is off to Halmstad!

Gosh, I woke up at 8 today too! But at least this means that I will have been busy all weekend = good!

My brother moves back from Halmstad today, so we’re going down to pick up his furniture. Halmstad is a really pretty town, and especially in the summertime. So this will be a nice little adventure. But I think my sister and I will just see the shopping mall… Haha!

Skåne is the province in the south of Sweden. It’s very close to Denmark and people have a funny accent there.

The provincial animal is the red deer.

The provincial flower is the ox-eye daisy, a very pretty flower I must say, which can grow pretty much everywhere.

What is wrong with me?

It’s Wednesday today! My last post was on Sunday! I’m so sorry, I totally forgot, I’ve been really busy. Let’s say that those days were my days off. I’ll be better now.

My birthday was on Monday. It’s a shame though having to work on your birthday. When I got back home my grandmas and cousins came over for dessert pie. And later Lin Go Ping came too. My dad’s workmate from China. He’s been here for 3 months now and leaves on Sunday. The funny thing is… It was his birthday too! But only this year, ’cause in China their birthday is on a different day every year, since their counting system is different from the Western. I don’t understand completely but he tried to explain it to us.

He gave me a 300 years old Chinese coin that is supposed to bring you happiness. Chinese stuff are so beautiful! I will keep it very close and get very happy

Shopping and pubing

Hey everyone!

I’m sorry I didn’t update yesterday but I was busy all day. Maria and I spent the whole day in Borås shopping, and then, since the public transport from Borås is horrible on Saturday we spent over 2 hours getting back home! A ride that takes 45 minutes by car.

I bought a pair of jeans shorts, 199kr (about 20 euros)

Then we hurried to get ready and had our cocktails before we went out. Last night no club was open around here, so we went to a bowling pub just the two of us. I have to say we didn’t have any high expectations about last night, but we ended up having a lot of fun! It’s all about the attitude! Even though we knew that place isn’t to fun, we were fun! Haha!

We spent most of the night talking to a bunch of guys who had a stag party there. Seems like they had had a really nice day.

Today the sun is shining and I feel like a million dollar!
