It’s very close to Denmark and people have a funny accent there.

The provincial animal is the red deer.

The provincial flower is the ox-eye daisy, a very pretty flower I must say, which can grow pretty much everywhere.

These animals are often significant for the province; maybe they have more of them than other provinces.

When we’re very young, maybe 11 years old, we learn all these in school. But I’m pretty sure most of us have forgotten it when we grow older. It’s actually not a big point in knowing what provincial animal Dalarna has!

But it’s a part of our culture. If you enter the border to Dalarna, which is a province, you might see an Eurasian Eagle-Owl on a signboard by the road. Or if you’re lucky you might see big fields of bluebells.
