I just watched the new TV-serie Revenge for the first time today. It seems really good!

I’m waiting for my cookies to be ready. I found this recipe at Sweet Pea’s kitchen . I’m still to find out what they taste like!

How was your Saturday?

We spent the day in Borås, shopping – except that I didn’t shop at all. I couldn’t find anything in the stores that I wanted! The only one who shopped was my Dad and Mum haha. It was a nice day though, and for lunch we had Thai buffé, YUM!

We got back home around 5 and I don’t know why time ran away so quickly, but I decided to take the 7 o’ clock train to Gothenburg to meet up with my friends. At the station in Vårgårda, once again, I met someone foreign! It’s so funny! I think it was a week ago since I met the awesome Cuban who was lost, and now I met two Spanish guys who had a friend here in my town.

In Gothenburg we went to a pub for a quick shot haha, and then continued on to a place where we could dance salsa.

On the train back home we talked about everything and nothing – it was a good night!

It’s insanely cold. I feel really sorry for myself living in this country. Haha!
Today we’re going on a family-trip to Borås, a city 45 minutes from here. I suppose just to shop though, haha

I slept like a baby! Went to bed at 10pm and can’t even remember that I woke up at all last night (which I normally do one or two times) and then woke up all fresh and new at 9am!

Had an egg sandwich for breakfast and now here I am. I wanted to go for a walk this morning but saw that it was minus 13 degrees, so I gave up that idea. Now I think I’m gonna do some more tidying up here at home, it’s still a mess from last week.

Stupid me not wearing more clothes then!! But I seriously thought that I had read -4 on the thermometer, but when I got back home I saw that it was actually -10! If I would have known I would have worn more clothes for sure!

Then my sister and I took grandma home, and had a look at her old clothes for something fun. But all I found was a pair of mittens, some stockings and a pair of gorgeous ear rings! It’s so nice though to look through all her old stuff, stuff that no longer exist, or stuff that has a history behind them.

Grandma showed us her old washboard. I didn’t really get if she had ever used it or not though. Maybe her mother. 

I bought this painting from an artist in Kibera, the slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Everytime I see it it makes me happy. I payed A LOT for it, and not until after I realised it was probably more than one month’s wages. But he deserved it.

My twin friends turned 22, so we started off having a really delicious ”old-lady-cake” at their place, and then we went out to a pizza shop here in my town which serves wine, hahaha!

It’s so funny ’cause we’re something like 10 000 people living in my town, we don’t have a pub, but four pizza shops. And who wants to go out here? Nothing happens here on a Wednesday night, and there is nothing to see.

But we had a grand time! Since they most of the time come in a pair, it’s double fun!

We spent maybe 5 hours just drinking and talking and eating chips. On the way back home we danced on the street in the snow.

I love everyday luxury.
